I liked the DVD but I think one movie the fans would love would be Kingdom Come. I'm not sure how you could do it, duplicate Alex Ross's painted style. unless there are legal reasons it could not be.
Loved the movie! It was a BIG improvement over the source material - thank you so much for that fantastic ending!
I was very nervous about seeing S/B: Supergirl turned into movie, having had a lot of issues with the original comics, but you made it amazing. Thank you so much for making the story about Kara, and actually developing her into a hero with that big fight scene at the end (something the comics missed). It actually made sense for her to become Supergirl at the end, which was very satisfying. Thanks.
I hear ya. I wish we still had commentaries as well, but the higher ups decided that commentaries weren't making them any MORE money, so they weren't necessary. Until the fans start complaining to Warner Bros Home Video, there won't be any more commentaries. :(
Darkness U.S.A.:
I've heard many people want Kingdom Come, but the common argument I hear against it is that it's too large of a story to be able to be condensed well into one of our movies. And it would be pretty much impossible to do Alex Ross style in animation. It would have to be made in CG for that to be possible.

I'm so glad to hear that you appreciated the changes we made in the story. I too feel that the story was made stronger, though I've had a few people complain about the differences. I'm glad someone out there can appreciate that what we did was for the betterment of the story.
I bought it.. I dug it. I especially enjoyed the Green Arrow feature. The Spectre and Green Arrow have never been characters I've been interested in. BUT, after seeing these two features from your DTV's...I'd be interested 100%. The one incentive plan that is a little buggy with me is... is and I know it's an added selling point... Is if you get the blu ray, you get the action figure. I know this isn't where you have any say in the matter... just a toss out. WB should look into if you get one format you get one character, you get a different format, you get a different character. Could boost sales for some people to buy both lol.
But I think you guys did a cool job on this feature. I enjoyed it.
I finally saw it, and it was amazing. I loved the change to the story, and I loved how sudden and intense that reveal of Darkseid was at the end. But I especially dug the physicality of the action, it seemed like we were watching a really well executed and choreographed fights as opposed to just seeing things blow up. Loved it, seriously, I dig it the most.
With all the strife at home and abroad, this seems like a trivial matter, but can you PLEASE tell me that Kevin Conroy is cast for the Batman: Year One animated feature? There doesn't seem much point to doing the essential Batman story without the essential Batman voice actor.
Bought it, watched it, LOVED IT. You are such an inspiration to me, Ms. Montgomery! Thank you so much for keeping up the good work. Your solo efforts have yet to disappoint!

Can't wait to see it!! These DC movies and Miyazaki films are the only dvds I'll buy without seeing the movie first.
It was great, Lauren! Really nice work. Just one question, though: Where's the commentary track??
I just got my Blu Ray copy >:D
Got it. Loved it.
Great job on the movie! Aquaman movie please. ;)

You guys did a damn fine job! That ending surprised me-- one hell of a super smack-down.
