Black Star!!!!!!

I've been obnoxiously busy lately. But I managed to find some time do draw for myself this weekend. Woohoo! I've only seen the first 4 episodes so far, but Soul Eater is shaping up to be an awesome show. I'm liking it a lot. So much that I felt the need to draw up some fan art. Nothing like a muscle boy with a Napolean complex to make me laugh.

This show is bad ass!!! I love it and its freaking hilarious!

The ending is rushed because it departs from the manga but other than that its an awesome show!

Yeah, this show rocks. The animation just gets better and better. Wait until you get to about episode 15 or so. Good stuff. Nice take on the character too.

Hi
I just wanted to say that you're living my dream and I'm really inspired by your work :)
I just took a look through your blog and not only have you taken the career path I'm working towards (storyboard artist to Director) but you've worked on some of my favourite animated shows and films. Animations that I admire for being mature, action filled and entertaining. Who says action-adventure cartoons are for boys.

So, I just wanted to say that I admire you and your work.

thanks!

Hello Lauren -

I'm the American voice actor for Death The Kid in the Soul Eater show found on your blog here. Thought I'd drop in and say thank you for checking out the property - its a great show - lots of imagination :) I stumbled upon your handiwork as I was watching the premiere of the Crisis On Earth trailer. It looks great; I always love a good Batman/Superman pairing. Best of luck as you get the project to the shelves!

So, you're not a porn star, then? I thought maybe you were an adult film star who happened to direct DC animation, which would make you the coolest lady ever.

...well, you're still pretty nifty in your own right. :P

In all seriousness, just a simple film reviewer, looking up the fine folks who I just saw in the new DC: Crisis animated movie trailer. Looks good so far, like the direction you took with Nightowl. Can't wait to see your work!

Oh - how rude of me - I didn't comment on all your great work that is on your blog regardless of Soul Eater. Yes - you are quite skilled with your artistic tools...by the by, I don't have a google email address (todd.haberkorn@funimation.com should do it), if you ever come across a free moment in the next decade or so - feel free to let me know if we're doing a poor dubbing job on Soul Eater and I'll be sure to make let the folks in the know aware of our deficiencies :)

Hi Lauren,

You are freaking adorable!

Just saw an interview with you and
I just want to go running around the forest with you! Ok...so I can't do that right now because I broke my ankle and the forest is on fire...but it is the thought that counts right?

Talented and cute...bet your not single...just my luck ;)

Keep up the amazing work! - Raul
