Once Again with Color

So here she is again. Finally. I know, I know. It's been forever since I posted this pencil drawing and promised a colored version, but what'd you expect? I'm a lazy bum who hates to color. I ripped off Ragnar for this coloring technique. Hell, I even ripped off his graphic background technique. But I'm just not original enough to come up with my own. What'd you expect? I'm lazy.

Oldie but Goodie?

Or maybe not so goodie. Roxie has a freakishly long neck and Stormer's head is a bit too small for her body. And the scan of the prismacolor marker rendered drawing made for an interesting interpretation of their skin colors; Pizazz looks a little sickly and pale. But oh well. It's an old drawing from before the blogging days and I thought it was worth sharing. So enjoy yourself some Misfits ... the Jem and the Holograms kind, not the Danzig kind.

In Loving Memory of Iwao

Just for the record, Superman isn't supposed to be checking Supergirl out. He's supposed to be more amused by the way she's posing for the camera. He isn't lusting after his younger cousin...I swear.

This PURELY platonic post is dedicated to Iwao Takamoto who passed earlier today. He was a genuinely kind and well-intentioned person as well as an artistic genius. He created Scooby Doo for Heaven's sake. He will be truly missed.

One Crappy Drawing to Last Three Weeks

I haven't had much time to draw anything for the old blog theses past few weeks. Even the holidays were too busy for me to really draw anything worthwhile. And I know I have at least three horrendously stressful weeks coming up ahead of me at work. So the only thing I have to put up for now is the piece of nothing that I crapped out sometime during Christmas. Enjoy.

And I even signed it. Though, why I chose the crappiest drawing to bear my name, I don't know.
